Reasons for rough surface of PE water supply pipes
PE water supply pipe is a common water supply pipe. Due to its excellent flexibility and high pressure resistance, it has become an important choice for modern water supply and drainage. Moreover, PE water supply pipes are made of white, non-toxic, and soft raw materials, which can be used in many engineering projects. But sometimes during use, it may be found that the surface of the PE water supply pipe is rough and does not meet the qualified standards. We all know that there are many reasons for the roughness of pipeline surfaces. Therefore, only when the root cause is clear can we adopt targeted solutions to improve the surface quality of PE water supply pipes.
1. PE water supply pipes are made of new materials, which can eliminate the surface roughness caused by moisture in the raw materials; If the roughness of the PE water supply pipe only appears in the thin layer on the surface, it can be partially formed in the mold.
2. The surface roughness of PE water supply pipes is caused by the friction between the melt and the surface of the mold, and is independent of the surface roughness of the mold.
3. For high viscosity polyethylene, due to the strong entanglement between molecular chains, the surface of the PE water supply pipe is very rough, difficult to separate from the melt, and unable to form effective lubrication. Therefore, if it is to be smooth, other lubricants must be added.
What should be noted when installing PE water supply pipes? Although PE water supply pipes are only plastic pipe products, there are various safety issues involved in the installation process. The installation precautions for PE water supply pipes are as follows:
1. When installing PE water supply pipes, the voltage of the installed equipment must be measured after loading; At the same time, the cabinet must be grounded to ensure personal safety.
2. After measuring the voltage of the equipment, the voltage of the power grid and generator should be measured to ensure that the voltage is always maintained at 220 volts to prevent damage to the machine.
3. Due to the heating process required to connect the PE water supply pipe, the heating plate temperature indicator should be lit to ensure welding temperature.
