Traction speed of polyethylene composite pipe
In the production process, due to the fact that polyethylene composite pipes are heat sensitive materials, even if heat stabilizers are added, it can only increase the decomposition temperature and stability time, and it is impossible to prevent decomposition. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly control the forming and processing temperature of polyethylene composite pipes. Therefore, the extrusion temperature should be determined based on factors such as formula, extruder characteristics, head structure, screw speed, temperature measurement point position, temperature measurement instrument error, and temperature measurement point depth.
The traction speed of the production line directly affects the yield of pipe production, and also affects the wall thickness of the pipe. Unstable traction speed can cause the pipe diameter to fluctuate. The traction speed should closely match the extrusion rate of the pipe. During normal production, the traction rate should be slightly faster than the extrusion line speed by 1%~10%. The slower the traction rate, the thicker the pipe wall, the faster the traction rate, and the thinner the pipe wall. This will also increase the longitudinal shrinkage rate and internal stress of the polyethylene composite pipe, thereby affecting the pipe size, qualification rate, and service efficiency.
Adjust the traction speed during production. The extruded pipe can be placed in the traction track, but the track does not clamp the pipe. Observe the speed difference between the track and the polyethylene composite pipeline. If the traction speed is slower than the extrusion speed, adjust it until the wall thickness meets the requirements.
